The Student Organization and Volunteer Opportunities (SOVO) Fair is one of the annual traditions at Virginia Commonwealth University that has been held every fall for over 18 years. It’s an exciting and momentous event that serves as a kick off to promote student engagement in campus life and the Richmond community. Student organizations host tables to showcase their groups and recruit new members. Community agencies from around the city participate to raise awareness and recruit volunteers for both short term and long term placement. Information on organizations and other involvement opportunities will be provided and there will be prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
