Fitness Center Orientations are an opportunity to familiarize yourself with equipment at our Fitness Centers.

Cabell Library Tours

Want to get a head start on your assignments? Come take a tour of Cabell Library! We'll help you learn to find things in the library and show you what's where. You'll also get helpful tips to jump start the academic year. We'll share some fun facts that you'll want to explore - including Cabell's award winning Comic Art collection. Invest a few minutes now, and you'll save a lot of time later! Tours last 30 minutes and meet inside the first floor main entrance.
Time: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The new Monroe Park Recreation Complex is almost here! Join us for a sneak preview of the facility as we will take you on a guided tour throught the construction zone. SOVO Fair

The Student Organization and Volunteer Opportunities (SOVO) Fair is one of the annual traditions at Virginia Commonwealth University that has been held every fall for over 18 years. It’s an exciting and momentous event that serves as a kick off to promote student engagement in campus life and the Richmond community. Student organizations host tables to showcase their groups and recruit new members. Community agencies from around the city participate to raise awareness and recruit volunteers for both short term and long term placement. Information on organizations and other involvement opportunities will be provided and there will be prizes and giveaways throughout the event. We hope you will join us for this great start to the school year event!
