Dr. Reuban Rodriguez
 Breakfast with the Dean

Come and have breakfast with Dr. Reuban Rodriguez, Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs. First thirty students to RSVP at 828-8940 will have a chance to meet Dr. Rodriguez, to ask questions about VCU and to hear about the exciting plans for VCU over the next four years.

 Day Canoe Trip

Bring lunch and a bottle of water with you! Join us for a relaxing day of canoeing on the Upper James River. This will be a scenic day paddle of mostly calm water with a few minor (class 1) rapids. Beginner canoeing instruction will be available. The OAP will supply guides, equipments and transportation and you supply lunch and sun lotion! Cost is $15 per person. Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. Call 828-6004 for more information.

Ram Spirit Walk

The Ram Spirit Walk wecomes new students to VCU with a rousing Pep Rally, followed by a marching band-led walk through Monroe Park to New Student Convocation at the Landmark Theater, to symbolize their entrance into the university community.
